The best malts have to be of a consistent quality, and at Warminster Maltings we know how to best achieve this. We have adopted and adapted techniques gleaned from the early 20th century, when 'floor malting' was at its peak of production and pinnacle of perfection.
At The Swaen we are experts in sourcing the best quality barley, wheat and rye. Using our bespoke, advanced germination and kilning, and probably the most environmentally sensitive roasting system, we are able to offer the very finest quality malt for the milling industry.
Since 2005 we produce our own floor and specialty malts in our malthouse in Záhlinice near city of Kroměříž. In 2016 we also restored within the premises of original lager cellars the tradition of beer production that is dating back to 1896.
